you can also use a 85-88(something like that that) kx250 head. on the 86 tecate 3 and 87 t-3 they are the same as the kx as most of the motor. the 84/85 tecate motor is nearly identical to a 82-84 kx250 motor. myself I would get a kx250 cylinder and head(I believe the porting is more radical, but everything bolts up and also use the kx250 head gasket(boost compression)

yep, thats why i need a new head, i want to lower the compression, i got a PVL ign. on it now, and forgot to go back to the stock BR9ES plug, and cooked it......used to have 185psi with a doubled base gasket. plus my jug is already ported, but needs a sleeve, but i got an extra tecate cylinder, and i think the head thats on it now, would cost to much to save.
