i hate to tell you this man but if its a 5.3 its not a 350 pretty sure thats a 318 and chevy doesnt make one of those that i know the 350 is a 5.7 just so you know

its a 1500 , 350 i know so it might be a 5.7 then thats all teh dealer told us its a 350motor

137 thosand is just breakin it in man, our my z71 has 230 thosand still purrin great, just put mobil 1 fully synthetic in it, and it will love you back... dont forget regular maintanince to like clean airfilter and check oil.. ours runs perfect

yeh i got the 5.7 in mine its a 89 with about 130k but a new engine and trany. its a beast laid my first burnout in it yesterday i just held the brake and tapped the gas just tapped it! and white smoke was rollin off of em.

5.3L is a 325/327 block.

Nice looking truck. Man those old 350's will run forever! I bought my '95 with 179k on it and it now has 224k and she's still going. She is getting a little tired though. I'm just about to drop a new motor and tranny in her to liven her up a bit. I can't wait, she should rip pretty good then with the mods I'm doing. Just wait til you start adding accessories! It will never stop! My used to be stock, but now she looks like this...

Yes, the interior is also pretty nice. I wouldn't say I have much of a system, but it's enought for me......for now anyways!:blah:

My Kenwood 600 watt amp and my Rockford Fosgate 8" subs in ported boxes. They thump pretty good for 8's!

It's just a custom job done by a local shop, nothing fancy.......although with my new motor, I'm also replacing the entire exhaust system. Starting with Gibson stainless headers, to a CATCO high flow cat and then into a Flowmaster American Thunder dual exhaust system with a super 40 series muffler and 3" stainless tips.

Nice truck Yanna, and if you say it's a 350, it's definately a 5.7.

Is the 5.0 a 305? My dad has that in his bulldozer with aftermarket headers and an Eldebrock four-barrel carb...I don't think there is any other bulldozer that sounds like it. He's snapped at least 5 driveshafts with the amount of torque the thing puts through, and just last summer he blew a hole in the tranny case.
