I ran the powermadds last winter, I haven't got around to putting them on my new bars for this coming winter though. They are a pretty sturdy hand guard, and they look nice also. Mounting was a ***** though:o

Don't get moose hand gaurds, they give good protection, but look off once they are mounted, and don't mout up well.

I'd like to get me a set of handguards, but everywhere I look it's like $30-$40 for the guards and like another $20 for the mouting kit?:huh

I'd love to have a set....not sure if it's worth more than $50 though...but I'm cheap though.:o

Its worth it bro...I believe I paid around $60 total for mine. Expensive....but so is a broken knuckel when that one tree smashes it....

I've heard alot of good things about the cycra's even though there $90 alot of people said its worth it. I've heard good things about acerbis and powermadd too, Just not sure which is the best for me, What handguards are most XC racers using?

I'm using Maier XC Pro, and so far my hands are still okay. If I was going to buy another set of handguards I'd probably go with Cycra, although I have heard of a few bike riders breaking them.

Cycra's are my only choice. They are durable, tuff, offer good protection. they are well worth the 90.00$

I have had Acerbis, Moose and Cycra. I like the Cycra the best. The Acerbis just wouldn't stay tight, The Moose was good, I just like the way the Cycra bolts up. My only problem is when I go over the bars I don't let go and I have broke my wrist 4 times in the last 2 years. Looking for good wrist guards.
