I've had a couple of RC cars in the past..

Started out with a Traxxas Stampede, then got an Emaxx, then traded that for a Nitro Rustler, then traded that for an Electric Rustler, I still have that. Sometime in between then I got a Traxxas 4-tec, still have pieces of that.

Now I have the Rustler, the 4-tec, and I just bought a HPI Nitro RS4.

If anybody wants to buy it send me a PM, I will tell you what it has, it's an extremely good deal.

Its got an OS MAX RX .21 engine in it that is newer and with both diffs hooked up, I would guess somewhere between 45-55 MPH. Thats when you can get traction. It will run out of range before you realize it. Its nuts!

plan on puttin new body,pipe,rims,tires,servos,might put steel braided lines in it if i can find them,and thats about it..... it run about 35-40 now and after all this stuff shuld be up around 45-50 hopefully... oh and mike... you can look at www.hpiracing.com or [url]www.teamassociated.com its messed up now tho tires so worn down from donuts and when i take off it dont do nuthin but spin and turn sideways.. and the cable ties that hold the coupler on the pipe have melted and pulled apart so now i gotta get sum of those

mike,check out www.traxxas.com/forums .it is one of the best sites i have found.you might want to look into getting the new traxxas revo if you plan to purchase one in the near future.to date,it is the newest and most technology advanced truck to date that i am aware of.you can learn more at www.traxxas.com .
i have a Fantom FR.18 powered t-maxx 2.5 with lots of goodies.when anyone gets to the point where it's time to rebuild your 2.5, or is looking for a motor with more power and is easier to tune,you should look into getting the FR.18.it usually goes for $150 at most hobby shops.it is a direct drop in for the 2.5 motor so you need to modify nothing, not even your EZ start.here is a few pics of mine.

can you post some pics of all your 4x4 nitro powered r/c's.i'm not a fan of electric.i might be interested buying one of them.i'm looking for a new one to play with but i'm not sure on what to get.i am strongly considering the revo but if the price is right for one of yours i might just change my mind.

I had a savage 21 with a picco outlaw .26 engine RB pipe, Integy piggy back shocks,roll cage about 1.5g's of upgrades. I used to race it but it broke all the time. I was always stripping a wheel hub or snapping a CV drive shaft. I finally got tired of having to go to the hobby shop everytime I wanted to run it. I bought a XTM x-terminator 1/8th scale buggy with a 24.7 engine and never had a problem out of it. The savage would right at 50. Ill try to post some pics on here. Oh well cant figure it out. Can i send someone my pics and they put it on here?

yes,they are a pita to tune properly.the 2.5 is very weather sensative,that's why i went with the FR.18.it holds a better tune from cool to warm to hot days and has more power.with my 2.5,i constantly had to mess with if the weather changed from the last time i ran it. to help get yours straightend out,check out www.traxxas.com and visit the t-maxx forums.there is also guides online that help you in certain areas of getting your maxx to run properly.do a search in the forums on what problem you are having and you should be good from there.;)

I have a T-Maxx 2.5. It ran fine during break-in, and then I started having problems. I live in Phoenix, so I figured heat had a lot to do with it. I ended up buying a bigger cooling head, a MotorSaver filter/intake, the new O.S. long-reach plug, and I diassembled, cleaned, and lubed the carb. It tuned right up and I've had no problems since. I think the big thing is that they kept a .15 instead of going to a bigger bore. The T-Maxx needs at least an .18 to pull it around without overheating. That 2.5 crap should be false advertising; they know everyone thinks it's a .25.:grr:

and gets there in like 2 seconds flat
that comp 01 engine f ing rips
i havent used any of them in like a year and i take really good care of my chit
if you look at anything i own (rc's) they all look brand new

my friend has a schumacher menace its the 4x4 with a 3 speed tranny i think. he says it does like 70 mph. he just put 400 dollars worth of aluminum into it so now its like all aluminim chassis and everything. if i can get a pic from him ill post it.

1/8 buggies only have 1 gear so i cant even imagine how fast my eb4 would go if i had even a 2 spd tranny

hey 300ex13 i give you my stampede and emaxx for 275 shipped i have no time for them they emaxx runs amzing and the stampede needs a new motor (20bucks) they bith havealot of mods and i will disassmeble and clean them all very well and then set them back up and runing before id sendthem id also throw in 5 batts and 2 chargers the emaxx has loads oh stuff i just need some stuff for my 400 so this stuff is just setting in my room is any body interested these are great trucks and i could get pics if some one is really interested but only if your serious because it would be trouble ot get them oh yea i give you all my tools for the trucks and i have a bunch of spare parts and sprays and stuff

i bought it on ebay for $160 then sold it the next year for $360

I have a Nitro Evader ST,it has a race pipe,gearing change,huge heat cooling head,and some other stuff here and there.I have raced a T-MAXX, the guy had almost 5,000 dollars in it and i still ate him alive.
