air box mod

I took the lid off my airbox and rejetted, bike runs great I have a question about the tube that comes in the side of the airbox. What does that tube do, to I need an airfilter on that small blck tube?

That goes to a 3-way breather, and I doubt you'll need to worry about it, if you're chuckin' the air box lid, you're probably not that worried about water/mud coming in the box, much less that little tube.

That black tube is your crank case vent tube. It should be pressed up against your air filter, therefore using the air filter as a filter for it. As long as it pressed up against the filter, you are ok. You just don't want it flopping around picking up dirt and water.
