I was wondering what the best gearing would be for mx riding. I am running 18" turf tamers and have a JE 416 kit. If anyone could give me some suggestions i would appreciate it. Im looking for bottom end with some top.
Thanks

Optimal gearing for MX changes for the type of track. For open MX, 15 or 16 up front with a 36 or 37 in the rear is good. For thight tracks you want to keep the 15 in the front and go 37 or even stock 38 in the rear with the 18" tires...

i run 18s with stock gearing but thinking of going to a 37 just to rev the engine out a bit more. i may even try a 14/36.... i have a feeling thats gunna be my key gearing on my track. which is pretty tight

I run 14/38 and it works pretty good.
