Oil Changing

I took out the crankcase engine oil drain bolt and the engine oil trank drain bolt and then when they were emptied i screwed them back on and only filled in the oil tank .. is that ok or do i also need to fill in through the engine oil filler hole? if yes could you please post a pic of where that is?

i forgot to say that i use yamalube 4 20W40.. and is it ok if i use it in the engine oil too?
