What companys make a quiet core for their pipes so that they will be ama legal for a yfz next year? Does Sparks racing?

sparks does not at this point as far as I knows, HMF's would be legal if the testing is accurate, jmo

I don't think Sparks ever will, because IMHO, they are truly a race pipe. Quietness robs horsepower... that is a fact. We rode with a YFZ with a Sparks pipe and it was WAY too loud! If you were right behind him on the trail, with your helmet on, your ears would still ring! Thats too loud for racing too in my book.

The thing is for neavtmx they are making you have quiet pipes :( So I have to find something that will give me pretty good power and be quiet.

for running the distric H.S. series and maybe a GNCC i should have any problem, I'd say get and HMF and run the quiet corefor the neatv series

Get the HMF with the quiet core, and when you don't need it, take that core out, and open 'er up:cool:
