I know this has been on here before but just to check up.... The xr400 cam chain is a heavy duty version of the 400ex cam chain, right? What about the cam sprockets and sliders?????

AHH! THANKS. And do you know if I can use the 400ex sliders and sprockets?

It's a direct replacement. The only difference that I could see is that the CRF chain has one more plate per link. The extra width doesn't seem to make a difference. It's actually cheaper than the stocker. I heard that the reason for this is that the CRF chain is made by MOOG here in the states, so there's no import tariff. I've had no problems.
