View Full Version : Wolverine or Foreman

I have a choice of a 1996 wolverine, or a 1996 honda foreman 400. I want to plow and go mudding. I also want a dependable quad. I really dont care about speed though. They are both the same price. What do you people think i should get????? THANKS

whichever one has been netter taken care of...check the air filter & oil quality...bearings too...both of these quads are BULLET PROOF

i would go with the wolverine sitts higher and looks better just my $.02

id say the honda, they plow real good, but the wolvering would prolly mud better, i think.

Like Jumbo said, whichever is in better condition...

If they are both equal go with the Foreman, my dad used to have a 1997(I believe) Foreman 400 and it was an awesome utility quad...:cool:

I agree. Both quads are pretty equal, just depends on the condition. Bearings are a big one on utilitys so check carefully. Not that cracked frames are big issues on utilities, but it wouldnt hurt to check the frame and mounting points.

Wolverine all the way, I still think its the funnest 4x4 ever made.

The new monster motor one's may have more power, but they weigh alotmore,and feel ALOT heavier. The wolverine works good for plowing snow and mudding too.

My buddy's forman is great as a work machine, but I thought it rode like a brick, and wasn't any faster then my moms 200sx.

As a matter of fact...............

Which one rides better. The foreman is $300 less now.

Pretty good in all category's, its almost as fast as a stock 300ex. I've gone through mud up to the frame. Its alot of fun, don't know what else to tell ya.
