Mustang owners?

Are there any mustang owners on this website? I'm going to take a look at a few this week that I might buy. Is there anything in particular I should look for? Maybe something that is know for breaking in a mustang? I'm looking at mainly 95-99's GT's. Thanks.

You've got alot of nerve reporting Atreyu's post. You like to start trouble saying rude things in every post you can. If you're going to act like a jackass then expect to get it back a little! As far as the moderators are concerned you're on very thin ice around here so I'd watch it if you don't want a permanent IP ban. You say you aren't breaking any rules but there's no rule saying we can't ban you just because we don't like you. Have you read the moderators rules lately? I didn't think so. Think about it next time you post something that will instigate trouble.

What to do? My son has been following this thread and disagreed with me for typing what I did. He says EXriders is like a dictatorship. If you disagree with the mods, you are gone and thats not fair.
I told him I dont care what members say on here. Its when we start getting several reported posts about one one member, then its a problem.
If one member is causing problems for many members, then he or she IS the problem and will be warned. If we keep getting reported posts about that member, they are gone. Sounds kind of harsh, but thats the way it is here.
There are hundreds of message boards on the net where you can argue and curse all day long to each other, but its not gonna happen at this site.

ive lost the stomach to worry about people on the net. if you piss me off you are quite liable to get the boot. that doesnt mean you cant disagree or have a differing opinion with me, but if you bash me or others your history. ive had enough...the bulk of our memebrs have had enough....so its ban first deal with the cry and tear routine later.

i like mustnags and i'd own a newer one if there were not so many around. the 94-95 have the 5.0 litre(302) and the 96-up have the 4.6 litre(281). Personally i felt that the newer (02-up) ran stronger than the older ones. which evere one you decide to buy get a 5-speed.

oh, and to stay on topic.... out of the range of years you've posted... I'd stick with the 95-96 (not sure on that)...the last model with the 5.0L. My buddy had one and it ran much better than the first versions of the 4.6L. I dont think the 4.6 really ran good until the turn of the century...

actually we had a chance to line up his 95 vs a buddy's 98 with the 4.6L and the 95 with the 5.0L not only felt stronger, but would take the newer one. It wasnt very precise testing....but just real world results in our opinions.

I do know one thing, my stock 88 Firebird WS6 (350 TPI) would smoke my buddys 95 'stang without even working up a sweat... :devil:

If you go for a newer 'Stang with the 4.6, make sure it's a '99 and up. '99 was the year that the 4.6 got new heads and an intake. The 96-98 4.6 motors were dogs and a step back from the 5.0.

yeas cbuss660r is right if u get a 4.6 get a 99 or newer the first year they put the 4.6 in the stangs they sucked i owned a 96 WS6 and smoked a 98 cobra w/ the 4.6 and smoked a 98 plain GT w/ a talon TSI AWD
but if u want the new body style get a 99 and up or get a 95 and lower i personal like the 02 and newer and the fox bodys but thats me.
