The way that it handles, and it feels pretty comfortable/natural when riding.

alot of people complain about this but is probably my favortie thing about my r... its the fact that honda took the time and did the motor the right way, thats what really set it straight for me, is when they made the 4 wheeler motor, more reliable(and beefed it up 4 a quad).,. because i have herd some nasty rumors about the dirtbike motor.. and plus my friends crf 450.. locked up on him after about 20 hours on it.. and come to find out u have to rebuild them about every 20 hours and thats just to much matience for me.... it will help me in the long run alot.. so thats what i am proud and happy with..

6 months and still running strong -- It's just so much more out of the box than my 400ex was when it was new. Besides, you'd be hard pressed to find somebody to gripe too much about something they've invested soooo much in :D . These days, I'd say it's about as close to a hard hitting 2-stroke as you can get without mixing gas. Just try and chisel the smile off my face and bugs from my teeth!

Don't have one "yet" but I would have to say the setup of the motor! The seperate clutch and tranny oil (i think thats right) And also the steel valves and a TRUE "450cc" quad :D

I have a 02 Crf450 dirt bike, and I know of others that have a lot more than 20 hours on them. I have not had any trouble out of it.

On the Trx450 I like the power and the way it looks.

Power (after rejetting), the natural feel of it under me, the way I can pull a power wheelie in 2 or 3rd out of a corner.

dislikes: stock shocks, stock footpegs, stock powerband

Up here in the great white north I feel good about my 450 R because:
1. I spank those snowmobile clutch clowns.
2. I spank anything else on trails and drags. Not too many alcohol banshees up here.
3. I get to look forward to riding in dunes. Something I've never done.

No, up here 90% of old men buy Polaris Sportsman quads. They've gotten cocky over the years with their Fugi engines and auto clutches. They're fast granted but I out out accellerate and top end those guys any day of the week. Really though all I want to do is use this machine for its intended purpose. It's so sad that I can only brag about beating utility quads.:(
