I have an 02' 300ex with the usual mods. After putting ten hours on it i've decided to get rid of it and find a 250R. The 400ex is nice but all i do is ride with banshees in the dunes. No matter what, without spending way to much in a 300 its not worth it to keep putting money into it that you will never get out of it. I'd say stop spending money on your 300 and start saving to get a good used 400ex or bite the bullet and finance a new one. You would be ten times happier with a 400ex not matter how nice your 3 is

yo my dads gotta 300 and its nice and all but go wit the 400. its got so much power. ive never rode one but my neighbor just rode a stock one at his friends and sayed it had so much more power than my dad 300. but if u dont feel like spendin the $$$ on a new one it aint worth buyin a used one unless the used is in great condition and u know it is.

I have a 2000 300EX with a few mods, nothing major, and i was thinking about really modding it out. Two of my friends have 400EX's and they let me ride them when we go out, and i love them so much. I realized that its not worth it to put more money into the 300 because you will never get that money back when you go to sell it. So ive decided to start saving for a 400 and thats what im doing now.

I like my 300EX, but if I had the money for a 400EX, I would go with that! ;)

I like my 300EX too, it an awesome machine, but I want a whole lot more out of it, and the 400EX has all that. So my heart is set on a 400EX.
