I just put a set of holeshot XCR's on a Set of ITP T9 wheels and now when i Wheelie, Which is what i prodomonitlly do it pulls hard the left, i staggered the tire pressure, 3 in the right, 5 in the left and it still pulls to the left, it did seem to get beter as i rode for like 5 mins, i was thinking maybe they just need to be worn in, any one have any suggestions or anything to try, i tightened up the hubs and it still pulls pretty extreme, its kind of ridiculose with equal pressure, anything would help its real annoying making left turns on 2 wheeles thanks.

i had the same thing with the standard holeshot. i pumped the smaller one up to 40 psi on a hot day and pushed the wheeler out in the driveway so the tire got nice a hot and left it for about 6-8 hours and its been good ever sense. it is amazing how much it expanded the tire. before i did this i had to run one at 2 psi and the other at 4 for them to be the same exact size. hope this helps.

you wouldnt want to ride it with 40 psi but sitting there it wont hurt anything. it will just expand the tire. i think the max on the standard holeshots is like 36 psi or something close to that

i have that problem too. i have to run 4psi in one and 8psi in the other. i run shredder tires though.

yeah its pretty drastic with mine, within like 10ft im making a left turn, thats messed up though that this is common, i hate to say it but with the stock tires and equal psi the thing went streight as an arrow, anyother suggestions of things to try and look at would be gratly appreciated, thatnks for the suggestion honda 92 im going to try that

The MAX PSI I believe when trying to pop the bead is 15...so I don't know how safe 40 would be, car tires are usually at 35 so what does that say...

Honda92, where in Wisconsin are you?

Dang people, the kid didn't put 40psi in it to ride, he did it to EXPAND THE TIRE. Smarter than your average exrider

Its really not that messed up for tires to not be the same...tires are rubber and rubber isnt the easiest thing to make consistent. If you order 2 identical sets of plastic from fullbore at the same time, and you put them side by side, there will be little things that arent identical. (One set of fenders will be a little lower, etc.)

Yea I know that he did it just to expand it, but it's still not very safe to inflate a small rubber tire like that up to 40 PSI.

yea it sure would be one hell of a bang if it let loose

the 15 psi is just a guideline to keep the manufacturers from being prosecuted. i filled mine to about 40 to pop it on the bead, just watch the tire and make sure no lumps come up in the tire, thats when you start backing off, but good idea honda92

True, But its better than buying a new tire. I couldn't live with a tire that is that deformed, i guess u would say.
I doubt it would let loose until over 50psi though. I've heard of them being filled to 40 psi all the time (by idiots at car tire places)

they are correct!! i believe my mxrs say you can inflate the tire up to 35 when seating the bead. as long as your not riding on the 40psi tires you shouldnt have any problems.

it can usually take 20-25lbs til the bead seats :macho

I run 45-50 psi in my mountain bike tires, and they are quite a bit smaller than rear quad tires.

What's the max they are designed to hold? It says not to ever inflate over 25 PSI (give or take 5 PSI) to break the bead on a tire. I don't know, but I don't think it's really worth it to try and reform a tire risking blowing it up or tearing it.

i just checked my holeshots once again, its says never go beyond 36 psi, 4 psi isnt going to hurt anything. either way it sure beats the hell of out sending the tire in and waiting weeks to get a new one. mountain bike tires are usually rated for around 65, i dont know why that was brought into this all but they usually are rated somewhere in that area. when your inflating it just be smart about it, if you hear unusual noises or see lumps or disfiguration as 440ex stated then back off few psi.

i was thinking my shredders say max psi is 6, but i could be wrong.

That is just the max operating pressure, they don't want you riding on the tires if they are over that PSI limit.

i was wrong. it says max inflation on the tires is 10 psi. however, yes that is probably max riding psi.

Im not for sure, cuz my ITPs arnt at my house now, But i think that on an XCT they can hold up to 40psi, But when i went to get mine to seat on the rim i had on up to 75psi and the other was a touch over 80psi, They are just way underrated
