Air Scoops For A 400ex

are they worth the money ?? i am finally going to te honda shop to get the 14tooth sproket to see if i like it better then my 15 .. and i was thinking about getting the omf air scoops ? i think that is what they are called.. does anyone have this on there stock 400ex i constantly run in high rpms so anything will keep the motor cool i have a open mind about so any ideas if this would be a good investment or not? like i said my 400ex is stock so is it worth getting the air scoops will it keep it more the 4 degress cooler i was hoping more like 40 or 50 maybe????:confused:

the airscoops are more for looks i belive but they do direct air towards the oil cooler but it won't drop the temp to much

you can get them at ebay or i think JL sells them

There are a couple different versions of the shrouds available. One design is the OMF, they can be found on eBay or directly from OMF I believe. Someone on the TRX400EX yahoo group also sells another version (~$40 I believe). There is a third style I've seen on ebay. I haven't seen any of them in person. After looking around and asking alot of questions I decided it just wasn't worth the $ right now (still stock engine on my 400's). Hope that helps.
