well its time to sell the 400 and move on in life... me and my dad are goin to start drag racing on a low scale and we also want to go to car shows... so i'm goin to build a truck or car what do u think i should do... plz don't say don't lower it or don't buy a ricer or get seomething else... also if u want make me a offer on the 406 shes gotta go....

i think fullsized trucks look sweet bagged so i'd do the silverado if i where you...id get a fbss airbag setup from like airride and put a big c-notch on it so it could lay frame...then id put 21's up front and 22's in the rear maybe spinners...i would also supercharge it and get a custom fiberglass system and custom interior...just some ideas good luck with the truck man;)

quads goin no questions ask i'm pissed at it... i haven't rode it all year and its just sittin there...


i talked to my dad and i think its gonna be a s10 with a air bag dropp to the ground... eventually a v-8 supercharged... custom painted to match out new long range rifle and tons of other things...


i plan on doin this over the next 2 years or so... its just something we've always wanted to do...

get s-10 and put a crate engine in it or built the motor from the block up :D we had a 82 s-10 with a 350 bored to a 360ci with a 400 crank in it etc, ran pretty darn good :macho

my buddy just got a s 10 blazer w/ a built small block .. i wouldnt recommend running airbags on the truck if you want to run a built engine too..it was pretty dangerous.. the truckswayed really bad when you got going fast or when launchign it real hard.. either run the bags w. stock engine or V8 ir w/ heavy duty springs for the heavier engine

ok get the 2nd turck full size step side looks like mine but mine has diff rims and more stuff,and it's red,hehe,get the red and drop it with bags,then put 22 spinners,shave the doorhandles and weld the tailgate and fill in the cresses and move the tail lights and repaint the filled places and shave the tail gate handle,then get the ram air hood, and the all chrome billet grill ,and the new sony dvd cd player that the screen pops out ,then get a topper to put over the bed but get a flat one that doesn't stick up higher then the bed so it doesn't look seperate from the welded tail gate, then get a bed cut and get 3-4 jl w6 subs with 2 jl d-class 1000 watts amp.and get the new alpine door speakers and 4 fulton tweets,then top it all off with a hulla girl on the dash .lol

that celica is sweet...but the s10 would be more fun. i agree with worm...dont bag it if your going to put that big of a motor in it. 4 link it with coilovers in the rear and mini tub it with either a ford 9 in or a 14 bolt shortened for wider tires...that would be fun... and fast...

if i had the money i would bag it just b/c how good it rides, i always thought it would be rough and bouncy wiht bags then i rode in 1,man it is the smoothest ride not near as bouncy as u would think and the kinda ride u want to sleep in,but yea no reason to bag it if u put a huge motor and drag it,ur goin to have to pic, to show it off or drag,or get a diff one to fix up and drag

If it swayed, it wasn't set up right. Bagged small blocked S-10s are everywhere, it has been done MANY times... Talk to someone who really knows what they are talking about (takes a while, you really got to ask around A LOT) and you can get it done, safer than most with coil overs/other setups.

keep in mind that the new emission laws wont pass a s10 with a v-8, unless you have all the smog stuff on it. You would actually be better to buy a tuner car or a muscle car.

get a DSM car like your buddies eclipse. my dude had one that would rip... itll run about 12.10 all day and drive anywhere.. turn the boost down around town and up at the track.. turbo cars can rip

i dunno what its worth... i was hopin to get a few offers on it and we'll see what i can get... i won't let it go for nothing i have lots of time to sell it bc i'll be in college... i'll find someone that wants it... its got a brand new rebuild motor, clutches, brand new shocks, axle, rear tires and tons of other things... i put 3,000$ into it and never rode it haha

take the s-10 supercharged 350 whatever you want.. try and keep it kind of tame in the noise department, dont get slicks, make it a sleeper and blow the **** out of everything around you, nice wheels maybe 17 front 18 rear, real nice clean look.. all the works ..thast what id do.

what are you going to do for the tranny/rear end? give me some ideas cause i wantg to put a 265 in my s-10 when time and money permits..i just dont know about the smog emission laws here in cali

if i ever get to di it, itll be a huge difference over my 2.2 seeing that the 118 hp that ive got will light em up

I'm witcha tommy, wit the whole college deal and movin on in life and growin up the x is getting a bit old 2.....I havn't road since last fall and i have no clue i just got a atv magazine the other day and now theres a raptor 350 and **** i never heard bout lol.... I'm goin 2 stick with the x for now since i just got it back 2gether but i agree wit the college and growin up it probably won't be 2 long till the ol X hits the road 2.... So on another note i'd say go for the s-10 wit 350 i love dropped s-10s....Personally i know it costs alot but the s-10s wit vette engines in them r freakin sweet so...... good luck sellin the 400 and gettin a s-10:devil:
