yea it was pretty dusty in the fields. I raced A and was 2nd off the holeshot so luckily i didnt have to suck too much dust. ended up 4th overall when it was all said and done. fun race, i had a good time. thats the first time i have ever seen bluegroove on a XC track. lol. later all. Matt

I should be at LTM this weekend, I also Ironmaned Tylorville and like you kim I have monkey butt, and some sore mucles. But I should be good to go for LTM, What did everyone think of the track at Taylorville. I thought it was serious fast, and Dangerous. First lap i hit a huge rut, By the time i saw it it was way to late to hit the brakes so i threw the 416into 3rd and hammerd down. Well ended up with my left knee and foot on the seat and my right leg draggin the dirt. I got slowed down got back on the quad. Took an easy lap to get my mind straight again. And then hammerd down to make my 5th place finish.


Way to go patte440 on your 2nd place, and the FIrst one to Iornman. U-2 Kim! u where haulin too!!

They always use a dead engine start.

I'm for the running engine start.....I can't seem to get my 450 started half the time......I'm sure it is not operator error......must be the bike

johnson........ you having starting problems? I raced a 450R at the 6 hour in macon georgia and it started very well... I havent heard much starting complaints about em in general either. jetting maybe??? I know the one i raced if it was warmed up at all you did have to use the hot start lever though..... even if it hadnt run very much prior to the start...... anyway good luck. hows everything else going?????? Got back from the race just a few hours ago, Id have to say that the track this week was the best HS/GP that i have even ran at Casey. I finished in 8th place, JOhnson357 I guess that that 450 started good, or did u fight your way up threw the riders.

Got her started just fine........just not ridin for a couple weeks hurt me the last couple of laps.......Matt all my starting problems are me more than the bike I am sure just need to work on it some more......I won't hold it against you that you are friends with Shep........but I did tell him if he was that tough he could have rode w/a broken hand.:devil:

The dust sucked bad. I'll take mud anyday.

They could have done a better job with the course. They knew it was dusty so they should have made us go in the woods more instead of those fields.

the girl that wrecked was that ashley whale girl. i seen you a bunch 400exmom. i was on the sideline with the exriders shirt on taking some pics. i wish my R would have been together because it looked like a fun race.

that race really stunk for me .. i was the girl that wrecked into the big whole .. it was so dusty u couldnt see 5 feet ahead of u i got a sucky start too.. good job to everybody that finished..:)

I thought it was a good race and track... BOY IT WAS A FAST ONE..... that was the most open i have ever seen Casey... i was running around 4 or 5 in the B class and then i threw a chain on the last lap and became a Cheer Leader real quick.... still got 15th...... but i really would have liked that 5th place plaque again....

Yea ... my buddy came back on his YFZ and towed me out.... needless to say there where a lot of pictures of that .... the R being Towed out of the woods by a YFZ.... if those pics get out it could be a bad day for HONDA..... :D

I was gonna write in the sand that i got out of there so no one thought i was KID Napped....:huh :p ... i figured that someone might figure that out if they came back looking for me.....

Thanks for the offer of pulling me out .... also there wasnt as much case damage as i thought.... it just broke the top case saver mount and there was nothing VITAL behind it..... just weld her up and re-drill and tap her and she is ready to go.... i also got it fixed as soon as i go back to my truck.... just took the front sprocket off and she cam unwound.....:rolleyes:

Started it up and rode it in to the bed of my truck... WHAT A DAY, What a day......:D

I think his name is Daryel..... or something like that ... he is a really nice guy ... he only broke a few vertabre and a collor bone and a few other things along with a Concusion ... but he got up and took off like a bat outta hell... notice he wasnt there this week.... im wishing him well and last i heard he was doing alright...

I am a little mad at them cause i was supposed to have a new sprocket (14t) for the weekend... ordered it Wed. and they said thurs night or at the latest Friday night... it is tuesday (6 days later) and it (according to fed ex tracking) IS STILL IN THE ILL. FED EX HUB..... :grr: :mad: :huh

Also they said to bad so sad to the fact that i DESTROYED a 13t tool steel on thursday and had to steal the one off my ex...... TOOL STEEL and no warrenty... that stuff cant even be drilled through and they said "sounds like a lot of power".... WTF :huh

The Chain is a little scuffed but what can i do... i got too much money in this thing now to start buying new crap for it again.... gonna have to wait till OCT. to put more new stuff on it.....

PS.... Just found out that my sprocket is in SACROMENTO CA. .... WTF Again :huh i live 1 hr away from sidewinder to the south ... IM NOT WEST.......:eek2: :mad:

dust was a serious issue all day they even water'd this track b4 we started:eek2: i lost my goggles b4 we hit the woods and i had so much dust in my eyes i think i could ridin faster with them shut! thanks to the spectater who gave me some goggle on my 2nd lap they were worth freakin GOLD to me!!!

lol i must of been standing pretty close to your son becasue hes got about the same angle as i had from the bridge. i dropped the film off today so hopefully ill have them back and posted in a couple days. as long as they turned out. that camera was beefed by the end of the day from the dust:D

killaquad, give magic racing a call and get one of their sprocket kits. You get a front and rear sprocket(both steel) and an O-ring chain for about 70 bucks. I have been running their kits for years and have never broken a chain or stripped a sprocket. I run them all a little longer than I probably should too. Matt

I like the Sidewinder kits cause they are pretty indestructable... i have schredded ever chain and sprocket out there... and now i have shredded a sidewinder... :eek2:

Oh well... i will check into the Magic Racing ones though...
