Timing Chain

do I absolutely have to take off the clutch in order to replace the timing chain? if so how hard is it to take off the clutch?

the clutch will come off. you will need an impact wrench to remove the clutch basket nut. it isn't all that hard. look in the FAQ forum. i think there is a link on this subject.
