A buddy of mine has a 2003 400ex that he is wanting to sell. The quad is box stock and has less than 75 hours use. It runs great, starts right up, and the plastic is in really good shape. He just put a new battery in it (old one went dead from sitting) and just serviced all the fluids and changed the filters. He's asking $3000 for it. Is this a fair price and would you buy it if you were in the market? Thanks!

It looks like its hardly been riden. It needs a bath from sitting and being riden, which is why he selling it, plus he needs money to fix his car, but its clean.

You cold prolly get a older one modded in not as good shape for that price tho

Most people around here that are selling quads only have a pipe on them and thats it. They are usually thrashed too, which is one of the reasons I was interested in this quad. I just got done talking with the guy and he said that he as a complete skid plate set for it that he would give me with it.

That sounds good to me. You know the history of how this quad has been taken care of, so thats a big plus. I would try to get it for 2800 or so.

i paid 2900 for this when it was all stock bout 3 months ago. dealer said it has less than 50 hours on it .id jumo on that 03 i wont be around long if ya dont.jmo.
