i was just wondering what the highest compression piston you can go with before you have to use race fuel. like higher octane than 93 pump gas.thanks, chris

i'm pretty sure it is 12 to 1 anything after that you have to uise race or a mix of race and 93.
i get sunoco 94 myself

According to GT Thunder, Laz says in this motor anything with more compression than stock he would reccomend race gas.

Has anybody heard anything from Sparks about their 12:1 piston. Or are they still handing out the same BS story they've been giving for the last 4 months.... "they should be here in a couple of weeks"?

Hmm, thats interesting. This must have to do with the different bore and stroke. I wish I knew more about motors!

I was actually saying the same thing for over a month and my 13.8:1 piston just came in friday...so maybe they will get a little better with getting pistons out!
