Just got a chance to take my ex out with my new 39mm fcr. It was alot more responsive seemed to make great power. Then I went to drag race. We race in the sand on a river bed. I could not start out in second gear. With my stock carb I started out in second and had great starts. I dont know much about the fcr so if someone could tell me what I need to adjust that would be great. It is set at 165 main, 3rd clip, 3 turns out. I am running a 406 wiseco 10.8:1, polish and ported head, 476 web cam, K&N filter. Thanks for any help.

try adjusting the fuel screw a little leaner..start the quad up and let it warm up.....then turn the fuel screw in until it starts to die down some....then turn it back out until the rmp's come back up.

Yea thats the one. Great carb. I tryed adjusting the fuel screw. Maybe the stocker just had a little more low end power. I dont know much about four stroke carbs. I cant tell if its rich or lean when its doing it.
