well i just made my bigest order for my 400. I ordered works triple rates and a 416 and cam and ac propegs from marcums. Also i got a lectron 38mm carb on the way. A buddy of mine wants to buy the carb off me for his 400 that has only got a wb slip on on it so that he can keep up with me. I think id rather be a lot faster than him than give him a deal to help the competition that would be kinda counter productive now wouldnt it after spending so much $$ on goin faster than him. What do u guys think i should do.

If I was you I would Sell him the Lectron and Buy a 39mm FCR Carb.

Id love to do that but unfortuanately i cant aford it. I blew all my $$ on the 416 and shocks

If you can`t get a FCR Carb then keep the Lectron.

Keep the Lectron and let me know how you like it. TC is putting one on my bike. Lectron 38mm makes more power than a 41mm FCR but Ive heard they are hard to tune,,,,, but they cant be beat when they are tuned right. Who know,,,Im gonna be tryin a Lectron!!!!

When i get the 416 all put together im gonna break it in with the stock carb and ride it a little like that then i'll put on the lectron so that i can se just how much the catb does

congrats on your new stuff. hope it works good for you. about the carb, i say sell it to your freind for 20bucks more than you bought it and say that is for the shipping to his house:D

The lectrons are also a real b!tch to mount. I belive you have to move the airbox forward.

The lectron does make more power than the 41FCR BUT, not until the HIGH HIGH rpms. lectron puts out less low rpm power than the stock carb.

Well I would agree on the Carb. TC told me to Run the Stock Carb for XC, so I would say the Lectron is not real good on Bottom End.

Hopefully I wont need much more bottom end with the 505. Drag racing i keep her pretty wound up anyway. i think it will be OK
I just had me an aluminum box built 1 inch longer

I forgot to take pics of it before I took it to the powder shop. I will be going there tommorrow to look at the "test" colors to see if i like them before they coat it. i will take my camera and get a pic of it along with the gusseting and post it in the TC 505 post!

Still havent got a chance to go to the PC shop yet. I will be able to go Thur at the latest then I will post pics. Its almost a 1 hour drive from here so by the time i drive there,,,stay there a little bit,,,then drive back i have been gone nearly 3 hours!!! have been real busy at work!
