clutch whirring

i just changed my oil to amsoil 20-50, and i noticed that the clutch is whirring a lot. i really didn't notice it before, but it is noticably louder now. is this normal?? maybe it has done it all along, and i just didn't notice.

You may want to expand on the whirring thing.... but my 400, especially when cold, has always made the nice "machine" sound. :) I can't say it changed when I went to synthetic.

i have been told that sound is the oil pump, but i don't know for sure. all the 400ex's do it that i have seen. don't worry, it is normal.
