so far I've just had to buy little things:
Pro design filter, billet adapter, compression plug thing, 37tooth rear sprocket.

soon i will be buyin:
sidewinder chain and sprocket set, grips, spindle studs, and maybe some new hot walsh products if i have enough coin kickin around

as for the 400ex, i parted it out. so quite a few people own it now :p

and yes, I will be racing at winchester, i'm not gonna get any sleep tonight :(

Nice bike!!!!!

on a side note did you say those a-arms are RollDesign because for some reason they don't look like it? I thought the ball joints were different than that and I thought they curved more toward the tire. None the less that is one sweet YFZ! congrats on the purchase

thanks, they are roll a-arms, the pics do not show the wierd odd shaped bends in them, and the ball joints on them are quite different than the roll I had for my 400ex (which are still for sale).

the quad steers very easy, and handles great as well

Nice action shots. That triple is damn near impossible to clear. Has that section been fixed yet? I did it on my first lap, but damn near broke my spine trying to clear after the lip erroded :(

another, they came out sick

he remade the triple on thursday when i was there. I packed it with my truck and it held together for a few days. it was pretty nice and not to hard to clear (with my quad anyways)

another set of rear hipers that i picked up  8" with the integrated hub and holeshot mxr4s. *notice the hubs now have steel inserts for the splines, so they will no wear like the aluminum ones did. if you're buying hipers make sure these have em!

muff
08-18-2004, 08:12 AM
also with these, the hub is solid. so i highly recommend getting the mud caps (i'm ordering mine today) because no dirt will be able to get in there at all.

closeup of the steel insert...

have you run the MXR4's yet? I am REALLY considering some of these and would really like to know how you like them. Are they like MXR's but just last longer or what? I've got some MXR's and love the way they work, but they don't last long.

nah havent run em yet. probably wont until the next race. the tread on them is stiffer, suppose to hook up better and last longer. i will keep running the mxr (or mxr4) rears unless a new all around mx tire comes out. i just love these tires.
