tomorrow i am getting a black 450r from the honda dealership i work at and i am working until 3:00
tomorrow is also the first day of racing at the local mx track at 6:30. i raced there last june-october on my 300ex but havent ridden there since and the track has a few minor changes
do u think i should still try to race or wait until i get some more time to practice on the track

ps-i dont think i will be trying to jump everything

Break the quad in first, then race it. Where do you plan on racing? I'm from NC as well.

Get use to the bike and go race next weekend.

I'd have to say break the quad in and get used to it. Wouldn't be any fun racing if you couldn't air it out and just rolled everything.

well i didnt get these messages in time
i brought the bike home from work and rode in the yard for about 15 minutes ,then packed up, and went to the track
it didnt take me more than a lap or two to get used to the bike
by my 3rd practice lap i was hitting the 70ft tabletop and 75ft triple step-up
that bike is awesome

eviljester,i raced at Robbins Ridge in Burnsville
you might know it by its old name foggy bottom

I'll send you pictures of my bent a-arms if you'd like. I'm still jumping on them, but the a-arms will not take mx. We have an 80 foot finish line jump and it kills my 450r. Good luck.

im not saying your lying but i think they are fairly good stock a-arms and i hit the same two 70-75 ft.jumps with my 300ex every lap of a 10 race season and never had a problem
and i think the 450's might be a little bit stronger

but if they break like you say i will have to buy used stock arms bc i dont have enough money for aftermarket
