250EX rev limiter

Does anybody know if there is a way to increase the rev limiter on the 250ex as with the pipe on my sons 250ex he can hit the rev limiter with ease now and i would like to increase it if possible.

i noticed that you have a 250ex with a procuircut pipe. i tryed the procuriut on my sons 250ex and the gasket was larger than the pipe. did you modified your pipe? let me know because i than tryed big guns and it didn't fit either. were did you get the pipe?

I am not sure what gasket you are talking about as we did not get any gaskets with it and it was just a slip fit over the stock head pipe, fit kind of snug but I think I will put some high temp gasket sealer on the head pipe and then slip the silencer back on because it is sucking in some cold air when he backs off of it and it will pop out the exhaust when that happens.

Any other questions I will try to help you with and he really likes the pipe.
