400 shocks with stock arms?

I know there are a million threads on this and that 400ex a-arms on a 300ex is a bad mod and is not safe, and I agree. But I want to up grade my suspension, and dont have alot of $$$ so...I want to buy 400ex or 450r shocks and make my own relocator bracket and use the stocker arms until i can get +2s. I wanted to know if running the 400 shocks with stock a-arms makes the quad feel tippy? Thanks.:confused:

it will make your quad very tipppy if you use the stock 250/300 a-arms if you can i would get the 450r shocks
