ride height

Is it possible to lower the ride height of the rear end of my 2002 400EX. if so are there any negative results from doing this? Thanks in advance 9300EX:D

You could loosen the preload up on the shock, but that will make it way to soft. The only real way to do it is to convert it to a SSD setup.

I hate to say it but I don't know what SSD mean's. Can someone explain it to me? thanks in advance 9300EX:D

Self sagging device, its a seperate spring that lets the quad sit lower in the travel without taking away travel or making the shock too soft.
