+2" a-arm with stock shocks

can i have an a-arm+2" with stock shocks on my yfz450??
and what the diffrent between the a-arm and the long travel or long arm??Q!!! i am new

i am running +2 a arms w/ stock shocks on my 400. i haven't had any problems out of it.

Running +2 arms with stock shocks will give you a very soft ride! With the YFZ shocks, you can get them revalved and resprung to match the arms.
Longtravel a-arms require longer than stock shocks. If you do a search on this forum you will find more info than you can probally handle about longtravel setups.
