high compression pistons?

what are the bennifits of a stock displacement, high compression piston? and also what are the bennifits of a big bore, high compression piston? how many horsepower (approx.)? and how about more top speed? thanx:)

if u get a piston and u have the motor apart u might as well throw in a xr 400 cam... it is a def notice in power on my 406 kit with a tc cam... i am running the 10.8:1 and i need 94 octane gas... u will be really happy with a high comp piston and cam...

where do you buy the 406? how much? and is there more top speed, better acceleration? thanx:devil
