I have a WB r-4 on my quad now but I bought a junker that had a Pro-circuit t-4 on it. The t-4 really woke my brothers quad up. I was wondering if its better than the WB r-4. I guess I could just swap it real quick and see what happens

Yeah, try swapping the pipes first and see what you think. I have a Pro Circuit T-4 and I think it's great! Also, try jetting it after you put the pipe on and then it'll be like a whole new quad.;)

I have heard that some pipes are for lo-end and some are for top end. where does the t-4 and wb r-4 fit in?

I don't know about the WB but my T-4(unjetted) gave me tons of low end and some mid-range and top end. Now my T-4(jetted) gives me basicly the same low end but lots of mid-range and top end.:eek2:

I have no complains on my Pro Circuit. I got the full system, and I like its mid-range hit.

yea i have got no complaints on my T4, personally i think its alot better than most of the pipes out there, but its really a low end-midrange pipe, but u do get top end, i would suggest u switch urs once and see what u like. i have heard nothing but bad things about the R4, atleast thats what i hear, but if i were u i'd try both. The T4 did wake mine up alot, and it runs strong as hec, and if u have to put the quiet core in it the bike gains more low end.

the T-4 should not be making lots more power. i have a feeling your jetting or something else needs to change. both the pipes should make around the same power. what are you jetted at? is your throttle cable adjusted properly??

I got this quad from nastynochback1 from this forum he has it set up great so I figure that my jetting is correct. I swapped pipes today and didnt really see a huge difference. The t-4 is a little louder and seems to have just a tad more lowend.

I lost lowend with my T-4, compared to stock, but I also have the header, and I run a stage 2 cam. I got a really big boost from mid-top though

I'm going to take the quad along with the stock pipe a DG pipe,WB r-4,and the t-4 to see which one gives the best bottom mid and top. I cant really tell arounf my track becasue the tires just keep spinning. I'll make about 4 passes on each pipe and let you guys know the results.

that would be a wise thing to do

I left out the key point of my previous post. I am going to take the quad to the drag strip with the pipes and see which is fastest.

i had the r4 and had no problems, except with that soild mount vibrating every bolt loose on the quad

but to stirr things up....arent they the same pipe T4-R4 the canister is the same. wont the end caps interchange? it was my understanding that calling the R4 crap and the T4 awesome is like calling the Kfx400 crap and the Z400 awesome.

I noticed they looked almost identical and that they bolt up the sme way. I cant really tell a difference in the too.

I had a R4 with a stock header on it. But then I bought a Sparks because I realized that the core inside my R4 broke and the header to the silencer thinger had to much room to move.

yea i noticed that my t4 vibrates on my header a little bit and its annoying!

why is the t-4 to big for the exhaust pipe coming the engine.

if it vibrates where the silencer mounts to the header, go buy a stock exhaust gasket for the header/silencer connection and put it on. it will be perfect then with no vibrations or leaks.
