Would a cr dirtbike ignition help out a stock 250r quad any?

You would see some improvement , not as mush as you would on a modified motor though

I currently have 3 R's I have ridden alot of different Quads but still prefer the R

I have a cr ingition on my atc-r and it rips, easy to stall though, but you get used to it and learn the point where its gonna stall, or if it does, stab the cluth and its back

I agree with deathman....the CR ignition is great. Def worth the money.

I got my new R Saturday and got to test it out on the mx track yesterday. ITS SWEET!!!!!!!!! The moter is stock boar with mx port,cr ignition,carb and esr trx 5 pipe. Its FAST! This thing pulls harder than my piped cdale. The geometry and handling is second to none. It jumps so neutral and corners effortless.
Im still gona have to get used to the 2 stroke power but for my 1st ride on a R after 9 yrs of thumpers went very well. I should have had one of these things years ago.

Thanks for the heads up on the cr ignition guys. I had the choice of getting it with the stock ignition or the cr and I went with the cr.
