carb has my confused

ok my carb is set at stock settings with stock pipe stock motor just a k and n and air box lid off. It idles fine if you stab the throttle from an idle it bogs out at about 3/4 throttle. If you roll the throttle on it will be fine and not cut out. I have tried diff needle postione 2nd from top and the 3rd grove I have tried 148 main 146 main 155 main but nothing has solved it. I have cleaned the whole carb twice. Air filter is clean..... Just don't know what else to check. Any suggestions would be nice

what elevation you ride at and what temperature?

i live in south eastern michigan and it is like high 70's to low 80s right now

You need to jet richer with your airbox lid off, anytime you increase or decrease air flow you need to rejet otherwise you will lose performance. Go up a size on your main jet and see how that works out.

i tried going up on the main jet I went to a 155 and it was still doing it. stock size is 148.

do you think it is too rich or too lean? When I chop the throttle from idle too about 3/4 it cuts out. This is driving me crazy

are you running the stock pilot jet? what fuel screw location you at?

i would go and try cleaning out the carb fully. i would also put in a keihin 155 main jet and leave the needle clip in the 3rd position.
