I just got a 99 400ex, and i need an aftermarket exhaust system. Should i get the whole works, or just a slip-on. also what kinds are the best for the 400ex. thanks a lot for the help!

ive always heard that unless you have some major motor work, that the stock header flows very well.
HMF makes a real nice slip-on system too.

Unless the motor has been modified and/or you have a bigger carb then there's no need for a header.

Just get the full system if you ever plan on doing motor work in the future...you don't want to have to sell the slip-on later on and then buy a full system when you could've avoided losing money in the first place.
Sparks makes a great full system and so does HMF.

You should get a full system no matter what. The stock header pipes are so skinny compared to me full yoshimura system!!!!!!!
