LT230E Engine Question

I bought a 1986 LT230E with a bad engine. The rod had gone through the block and destroyed the head. I have a bottom end now, but need a jug. Will the cylinder from a LT230 quadsport fit on the LT230E quadrunner?

I also need a front rack if anyone happens to have one.

what is the differnce between the two does the e have an elecrtic start if thats the only defrence sure

aahhh the old lt230.....i loved mine, best running quad i ever owned, mine was a 93 and was a wheelie beast, only about 15 hp lol if that, but i could ride some wheelies on it for days

my 89 quadrunner ran great, flipped the sum ****** down a HUGE hill, and it rested on the handlebars once (well, prolly more than one) and i'll be damned if i didnt flip it over and ride on, IT NEVER STOPPED RUNNING, lmao

My 1st quad was an 87 lt230e quadrunner, I bought it used when I was 14. I loved that quad, but it cost me way too much $ to keep it running. I had a dg rcm pipe on it that sounded like I was running straight pipes on it. Those were the days.
