Does the 450R carb have an accellerator pump on it? I have yet to take it apart to find out.

Are you who said it dose sure? My understanding was one of the main reasons for going with the FCR, is improved throttle response. Due to the accelerator pump, the 450r dose not have one so we get that off throttle bog sometimes.

Again this is what i was led to understand.

450R DOES have an accelerator pump. The thing that slows throttle response is the butterfly. A FCR carb doesn't have one.

Look up the carb at service honda and see if you see a butterfly, I didn't see one. This carb is different from an EX

I'm not trying to be smart but I had mine apart today and has a butterfly or throttle blade.

If it's the blow-up I'm thinking of they show the carb from the wrong angle to see it.
