PROS =more power, cons for other riderswith smaller motors haha, seriousely youll notice some improvement, but u should also, drop in a cam ,get the head ported, and a nice pipe like a curtis sparks or ct. I have currently a 426 motor n there has been no troubles with reliability, when i did my motor i noticed quite a difference,!! im new to this site n dont really no what the other riders have but i no mine is plenty fast its not no crf450r but hey its still a honda solid as a rock

The 416 is defiinetly worth the time and money, the kits are pretty inexpensive for the gains you will receive

WE are kinda curious about this also, we have a 440 high comp kit already but may just wait to go that big & start w/ a 416 for now to see how it does, it will mainly be woods riding, a little flattrackin'. We have a xr400 cam, that should work good w/ the 416???? Also wondering about the carb?? Think we can get away w/ running the stock carb?? Any more info would be appreciated :) thanks

You can run the stock carb, but from experience going from a 39mm FCR back to stock I noticed a big difference the stock carb does not like to be lugged and pull hills the fcr you can lug it roll into the throttle and away you go up the hill.
