removing a clutch

i got everything up till the main shaft nut, now i dont want to buy a clutch puller, i was thinking just take off my chain and put an old sproket on and wedge it against the crank case. Sound alright??

Just take it somewhere with an impact wrench and hit it with that. It will come right off.

yeah, an impact will take it right off.

are you talking about the timing chain?

What they said. I just went thru this. I even tried a 2 foot breaker bar and no dice. The impact wrench got it off in .5 of a second!
