light question/idea

I hate the stock headlight, I took it off and I don't want to put it back on cuz it looks like chit, and don't compleatley work right. I was thinkin of getting a set of banshee head lights and putting the on the mounts for the front plastic.I think that would look sick, and would be much better than the crappy stock head light. The stock thing ain't even that bright.

yeah i didnt like the light either, i custom mounted a 250r hood and used the stock 300 light and it looks nice, i also bought some other lights that im either mounting onto the frame or airscoops, the plastic mounts are that big and idk if ule be able to mount them there, good luck though

I can't realy put a 250r hood on my 300ex, I have maire plastics on it, and to put a hood on there would require some major cutting of the fromt plastic to make work, and I'm not going to do that to 400 dollaar plastic. I think I will have the chance tomorow to look at the lights on a banshee to see if my idea would work, I'm open to any other sugestions anyone else might have though. I really want to do something about this besides put the stock light back on.

they sell cheap lights at like fleet farm, or you could get a trailtech-lazerstar kit, thats what i want to do.

Check this thread out, you don't have to cut the plastics just drill 4 holes to mount the hood. Don't bother with the lights from the auto stores they suck. The stock light throws out a ton more light or go with the trailtech or lazerlights.

Maybe for 3 sets... $125 is around what you'll pay for a set of race-cut on a 300.
