Any experience with this product? Yay or nay? Ordered one yesterday and would like to know if it is worth my time? (little late now). Thanks
Allan:p

If you got the regular Outerwears one that goes on with velcro, it's not that good. For a mmmmuch better desiged one, go here---->Click Me! (http://www.ehsracing.com)

those look sweet, what i did is just put the outerwears on with the crappy velcro and put the stock airbox lid on with a big oval cut out of it.it might not be as pretty as that but it works.:)

The EHS lids are as good as they get IMO.

Im happy with the performance of my velcro outerwear lid but the velcro keeps coming off for me too. Luckily I got a ton more from a local craft store and just put new on whenever needed. The EHS lid is what I should have got but Ill deal with what I have now...

I just cut out the top of my stock air box lid and then install it over the outer wear. Its not as pretty as the aluminum cover on the EHS, but works great and no more velcro problems!

Theres another post floating around here on EHS lids, and I said I would give a review when I got some experience with it.

so in a nutshell.

I'm back to the stock lid. This setup was not for XC. I was hoping I could run the EHS lid, but found way to much water and dirt in my filter box after a hard day of riding.

I thought the outerwear material is supposed to be waterprrof or is it only splashproof?

Or is it just a marketing claim?:huh

We do no not have so much water in these parts but it is worrying when some of the posts are saying water and dirt in the box?

Anyone got further info or updates on this thread?? :grr:

the outerwear is only water resistant. so if you have a little splash here and there, you should be fine. anything more might end up in the air box. also, i think my outerwear tag said the water resistant coating may wear off in a year or so.

also, this won't stop all dust. much of it will be stopped but you will definately have more in the air box than if you ran a full lid.
