what exhaust system could for my 300ex with good power gains but without gaining alot of decibals.

if you want really quiet, check out the new pro circut type 496. supposed to be 96 db

I've got a modded 400ex silencer on the 300 headpipe. The HMF was too loud for me.

ya i wouldnt go with hmf if you want to stay really quiet cause it has great power gains but is far from quiet! i still love mine though:devil:

i like the hmf heard good things but about as loud as a WB R4 with quiet core...fmf q supposed to b real quiet but not much gain

I'm getting ready to put on a FMF Megamax II on my 250x... with the quiet core, its pretty close to stock sound... My buddy had one on his 300ex and it passed my neighborhood test :D (the cops didn't come :D ) They have paid me a visit with the DG thats on it now.... :devil:

i know you warned me and i heard the clip myself. i really like it, but i was just saying it was loud before he bought one, if he was wanting a quiet exhaust! cause as you know its far from quiet:devil: :D
