Is there any spacers on a stock 400ex that go between the needle and slide, or between the needle, and the bracket that screws into the slide? thanks!

 Not sure what you are meaning. Here is a diagram of the carb.

Good luck.

nope. there is the jet needle with the clip on it, then the slide, then the bracket with 2 screws that holds the slide down.

Ok, thanks guys. I'm gonna switch back to keihin from my dynojet and try it. I can't seem to get this thing right. I have a mid throttle bog, and it will sputter when I back off to 1/2 throttle sometimes. Either it is lean or rich.... On power it was fine though. I believe it is a tad rich in the mid range.... but I'm gonna go back to the stock keihin needle and jet. Also, it should be easier to tune... Do they make a 150 keihin jet? Or should I go with the 152 for a HMF exhuast, no air box mods, uni filter, sea level to 1500ft elevation, 50-90 degrees.....?
