Thought you guys might like to see this..... This is what happened to my old cylinder when my quad siezed.

I don't have pictures of the piston yet, but its pretty unbelievable to know that my engine was capable of doing so much damage!

Cracked sleeve. It pretty much shattered and all fell in the bottom end! :o

The sleeve was bored so far that the piston started moving the sleeve up and down. The piston looked like a pound of dynomite was attached to it!

I couldn't resleeve the engine because the sleeve wore down the walls where I couldn't get another sleeve to fit right,

You have gas in the tank right? Try pumping the gas a few times. Also, you put the plug wire on the plug right? I'vem forgotten it a few times..:blah: Finally, is your plug getting gas? Your timing right? Are you even getting spark, etc. I'm sure its something easy...

Im sure its something easy, also. I just can never get a break. Thats not including yesterday when I found out i need a new cylinder for my Hrydraulic clutch, and a new air box because somehow the old one cracked...

I will take the carb apart later along with the air filter.

I guess it would be safe in september to tear the hole quad down and redo everything, check for noticable problems, ect.....

I gotta get a service manual.... How much do they cost?

Service manuals are like 20 bucks if you get the clymer's service manual. don't get the honda factory one it sucks and its like 40 bucks. the clymer is defenitly worth it.
