A little help...

Well here reciently ive been hearing a pinging and like a sss noise coming from the engine... i have adjusted the valves and it still comes back. can someone help also the engine is stock...

if it's only a little ticking noise comming from the engine (valves) don't worry about it.. all the 400ex have that sound.

sounds like bad gas maybe... run some higher octane (93) and see if it clears up.

You need a new engine.

I'm running 92 right now

Is this a problem that JUST started? Does the motor feel any different when it makes the noise?

It could be your timing chain... they can be noisy.

Well the pinging and stuff starts when i ride it hard and the when im idleing around i can hear ping ping... and when im going fast

check ur brake lever and clutch cable i know mine deos it when iget in high rpms
