300ex stock shock adjustments

i just bought a 2000 300ex and dont have a service manual or owners manual yet. i was wondering what the settings on the stock shocks do or a link to somewhere that can tell me what the best setting for me would be.

i weigh 145lbs, and im new at riding so im not real aggressive yet. i'll be riding alot of medium sized hills, some rocky terrain, and some smooth trails. Maybe in a few months be jumping small jumps.
