little starting problem

hey well, I havent road my quad in like 2-3 months and my battery is like almost dead.. Anyways when i try to start it it doesnt start and the battery sounds like its dead then all of a sudden revives its self and keeps pushing it over till it starts.. For it to start I have to put the choke on and its like 80 degrees out.. Is it that my battery is almost dead? or is it that I need a new spark plug. My air filter is clean.

:) make sure that your battery is at full charge.the enghie needs to turn over fast enuff to fire off.the more charged your battery is the bigger the spark will be on your spark plug.:p
