EXriders.com has made it to Mass. for 11th Round of the GNC Series. The Morning started out with some heavy rain that is suppose to let up and turn into scattered showers as the day continues. The temps are already in the Mid 70's and the Humidty is high, so the rough track will definitly test the endurance of the riders.

Women's A Class

Angela Moore quad would not start on the gate for the second moto because apparently her needle and her carb dropped which would not allow it to run. Heather Byrd went on to win the 2nd moto and the overall which gave her the women’s A class championship by default since Angela wasn’t able to compete.

Michelle Reiser gave Heather Byrd a run for her money and stayed with her the entire moto, but was not able to pass because of the one-line conditions.

Man, THAT many DNF's for overheating?? I mean, im not surprised Jones DNF'd with all the **** luck hes had, but Farr and Natalie too!! Those 2 are in the biggest battle for the rest of the season in points and both DNF'd. Hopefully the next moto goes better... I can only imagine what kind of heat problems my EX would be having without liquid cooling there...

fastexgirl4c, too bad on the finish in the second moto, but great job in the first one!

BTW, sounds like you got a nice 300ex by whats listed in your sig. also, where are you located in CT? i live in CT also

i should prolly list what i got in my 250x, or i should say 310RX... hehehe... its for flattracking, though not completely finished yet, but it'll rip with the 310r motor in it.

Im pretty sure Jones blew his head in the first moto. All in all, great weekend! That early morning rain kept it down to 0 dust, but it was muggy as hell.

Gust looked flawless, and in the first moto, Jones was definitely taking the win, and maybe could have held on to a few more possitions, if he didnt start wving around gust as soon as his moto started running crappy.

i was there harlen, i heard ur name annouiced but never saw you.. the day was def hot, i got there around 1230. right at tords the end of the first moto, when i started watching, farr had just broken down. and for the second moto farr had the hole shot but after the second lap gust was the man the whole way. by the end of the race he had lapped like 5 guys. kory ellis looked like a joke out there and far came in 3rd. which was pretty much already said. but it a fun day, i got to meet gust and far, and i actually got to touch farrs bike:p

it was my first national so i didnt know what to expect, but damn when i frist got there i was like wow these guys arent that great, but after watching them, these guys are wickeddd fast, the way gust corners was what gave him the huge *** lead he had, he prolly had a 10 second lead on farr and who ever #13 was.

deffinitaly a cool day, but the track had like no jumps:confused: really long tho, and really bumpy, the pro A,B,C guys looked like they were gunna pass out when they started slowing down after the finish line table top.

ya that was a dam good race... i got some video and about 100 pics...
jones was doing so well too... then he just started slowing down, its too bad... i really wanted to see him win. but gust earned what he got.... i cant imagine riding as hard and long as they do and on that rough track.

It is great to see him show his support for me and EXriders.com on the podium. I do my best to support John and many other racers, and it is awesome to hear them mention you on the Podium.

Thanks a million John and all the others that have given me support!!!!

thanks yah i was having a crappy weekend that track took the best of me (crashed every day lol) im #3. Well you are underage though. At the ATVA GNC MX nationals you have to be 16 to run in womens b/c and im not sure what official you were talking to, (probably the one that is the regular track offical) but Smitty the GNC offical would have you kicked out for a minimum of 2 years if he found out that u were 14 runnin in womens.

I agree with you Johnny! Chanman, if Kory looked like a joke out there, what would you look like as he lapped you several times in one moto? 4th in the first moto, man he sucks! J/K. Kory is the man, he must of had some bike issues in the second moto.

That a way Johnny C!!! You stick up for the Pro Riders.

Yes, Kory Ellis was having quad issues in the 2nd Moto and ofcourse he took it easy, so he would be able to finish the 2nd Moto and earn atleast some points. There was no use in him trying to ride hard because he wasn't going to be able to catch anyone, so he played it smart and finished the race with a 7th Overall (4-15) not bad to taking it easy. If he DNFed like Jason Luburgh, Jeremiah Jones, Pat Brown, and Randy Lehr he would have finished 14th Overall (4-DNF). Also just for the record, these guys would have done the same thing, but they didn't have the option.
