I would think that a 4 stroke would be a lot easier to ride in the snow because of the 2 stroke's powerband.

I ride in the snow all the time. I love it. It is so much fun. Although one day it was like 20 below out and the quad wouldn't get warmed up lol.

my atc110 is awsome in the snow because it's so low. you take it out on the hard-packed road go like 25 and hit the back break and do 540's and 720's it's awsome:p

its fun for about a hour then you start getting cold and the snow gets deep and you start having some problems, but reverse is very nice to have in the snow, i laugh at my friend pulling his blaster out

Riding in the snow is fun....for the first couple times. After 7 months straight of nothing but it, its gets REALLY old. And so does the -65f that comes with it:o

most people who ride mx do their winter rebuilds and never even go out in the snow to get it ready for the race season but i have to be honest with you. i have such an awsome time riding the roads in the snow. we always get a group of people and when the roads are covered we ride everywhere, last year we rode down to a krispy kreme and got some donuts. i only stay on the road though because riding feilds i always tend to hit hidden things and dent stuff. i put my lights back in and throw on a set of agressive tires and its great fun. i actually stay up late to watch the other snowmobiles and quads go past my house at night

i dont worry about noise....we have ridden on the road at night....250r with an FMF pipe, Banshee with Bills pipes, Mojave with no packing in a cobra pipe, and my 450r with HRC...oh and cops usually dont car seeing how its safer to be on the road in those conditions with a quad than it is with a car!!

riding in the snow is fun but after a while it gets boring only being able to go bout 60 on the river, so then i break out the snowmobiles, any one here have any sleds? let me know... i got a Polaris indy 500, 2 yamaha 440s, and a Polaris XC 700 ( my favorite, nothing beats doin 115 MPH down a powdery trail)! haha

I don't need this thread to make me think of snow in july. I'm a snowboarded, I wanted snow 2 months ago.

never topped the rev out yet. we got it at the end of the yr and put like 200 miles on it. still break in. well basically my mom never got off it:o but its pretty quick. ive had it to 100MPH but there was a bit more to go. they got a touchy throttle too. very snappy.

as for the 700. ive maxxed the gadge. 120MPH and it was climbing pretty fairly quick when it hit the needle. i wanan get another gadge and do it again.

Is the SRX a triple? cuz my friend has an SRX 600 ( it think) and that thing is damn fast. My XC 700 is a double and that thing is super fun, my brother had is up to a little over 115 and the trail ran out of room but he said it woulda kept going faster.
