450r exhaust on 250x

Will a 450r silencer, just the silencer, fit on a 250x with a little modification. I know a 400ex silencer will. Just wondering.

I'm not sure if it will mount up or not. Sounds like logical mod though. An exhaust designed for a bigger bike will allow a smaller one to breath better, and keep the noise down.

Yes, that is why I want to know if it will fit. I can get a 450 exhaust for $10.

If its only $10, just get it and see. If it doesn't work, your only out 10 bucks. I don't see why it wouldn't fit if you did a little bending and maybe a little cutting. And if it doesn't work, i'm sure you could get your 10 bucks or maybe more back out of it on ebay or something.

Where I live it is. One of my neighbors is an old couple and they'll call the cops on me if im out with a 100db pipe at 10 at night.

like they said, get it and if not your only out 10 bucks, if its just a lil too larg, cut a coke can or something and slide it in there to take the extra space up. it works, thats what we had to do on my old ct slip-on.
