i think 35 bucks covers you for the weekend. the race its self is 20, and the other 15 is gate fee in to the park, so your good to ride before and after the race all day.

rules are pretty general, helmet, goggles.

So how did everyone end up finishing? All that I really know of is...
Dad got 2 flats during the race, got stuck, and had a few other problems and didn't finish very well. But he did finish. lol
Bradley didn't get to race b/c he bent his axle while riding the course before the race.
I finished 4th (maybe 5th). I was running 3rd up until I got stuck.(maybe 2nd... not sure. I was in 3rd when I last went through the start thingie) Atleast I got stuck on the last lap and not the first one. LOL.
So what did everyone think of the track? I liked it. Pretty wide open. Some slick spots, some tight spots, some rough spots, I'd say overall a pretty good track.

Bad day for the home team, flat on first lap, flat on 2 nd lap, got stuck after the handguards I borrowed from B-Rad from the wood come loose and got caught on the front plastic making me do a sharp right hand turn after trying to correct a spin out. Oh well, you got to have some bad days with the good.

track was tight, to bad i got tunnel vision and jumped into a mud hole to big for the z400:confused: I really couldnt go on cause i was sliding off my quad, add that with trying to put it into over drive to catch back up equals danger :eek2: :blah: Hey Braf do you know who won the c class , and who was the pitted right next to you in the badass quad shop trailer?

Sorry that ya had a bad day. Guess we all have those every now and then. Seems that I've had quite a few here lately. lol Oh well! The dudes in the quad shop trailer next to us was Rowlrag and Woolin.

I don't know who got 1st in our class. My posse left me out in the woods until some guys on 250r's and a scrambler came by with a tow rope to pull me out. By the time I got back they were handing out the awards.

The Quad Shop trailer was John Rowling and Fred Mudd. They sure had some sweet 450R's.

I know what you mean by the slippery seats. I have come close a couple of times. Lil has even fell off her bike that way one time. I have a gripper seat buy it has been hard to find someone to put it on for me.

Next time come on over and say hi. We enjoy the company.

The track had some really fun sections but some of it really sucked on a dirtbike, like around the 3 and the 4 mile markers i think.... I was parked like 2 trucks down from Braff an them. I dont know who won but i know Bleu Dewire (a guy i know) got 2nd in C Todd got 3rd in PRO. Zeke Smith blew the top end on his CR250 on his last lap (woohoo now i can say i beat him) and Ron Tuley was stuck in the same mud hole as Kyrie. I ATTEMPTED to help get them out. (key word there....'attempted') It seemed rougher than the other tracks this year. Not to bad once it dried out a little bit.

Well I decided to go and try out Haspin finally. It's about 4 & 1/2 hrs. from O'boro, KY but I wanted to give it a shot. I usually try to get to the races a few hours before start but this Sunday we were gonna get there about an hour before start time if EVERYTHING went right. My ONE and only pit crew member ( my wife) is 4 mos. pregnant so we were stopping to use the restrooms alot and she was taking her time! I told her we didn't have a lot of time to spare that the race started at 1 o'clock. She asked me if that was 1 our time or 1 their time. I realized then there was no way we would make it so a little aggravated I turn around about 5 miles from louisville. Oh well maybe I'll try again sometimes.Next time I'll alot for the time change!!!

dwcrash... that sucks that you didn't get to make it. It was a good race. Hope ya get to make another one this season.

Before the quad race, at the riders meeting, does anyone know who put that one ticket in there? The "david kelsch is gay" ticket? LMAO!! That was great!!!

I am! Outside of the getting stuck and sitting in the woods for half an hour, my first hair scramble rocked. I did put a nice crease in one of my lower A-arms and a crack the mid pipe on my exhaust, but I had fun racing more than 10 minutes at a time. lol
